At Aughton Junior Academy, we recognise the importance for caring about the world we live in and encourage everyone to take care of our environment.

We want our children to have the opportunity to have a voice and experience having extra-responsibilities, so they understand how important their role is.  

The role of an Eco Warrior will be a very important one. These children will be chosen to promote ways to make our school more sustainable and encourage everyone to be more mindful of our world. The Eco warriors will be considerate of the environment and come up with ingenious ideas to help save the planet!

Autumn 2

Our Eco Warriors are focussing on looking after our academy environment for this half term. The team have a set of litter pickers which they have been using to collect litter from the academy grounds and playground. 

They will be meeting this half term to look at ways we can make our academy more eco-friendly.
