Beginning of the day      

8.30am school gates open onto the yard

8:45am Children go into school with their class teacher and start their morning tasks / activities.

8.55am classroom doors close and registers are taken.

End of the day

3:00pm school gates will be unlocked.

3.10pm Pupils leave school for all year groups.  

Breakfast Club

Breakfast club runs every morning from 7:40 until 8:40am. To take your child to the breakfast club, please enter school via the driveway, and through the front entrance at reception where a member of the AJA Team will greet you.

There are a wide variety of cereals and fresh toast, as well as fun activities to stimulate and entertain available.

We ask for £1.50 per day, including breakfast.

There is no need to book a place however it would be helpful if you could let us know in advance if you will be using breakfast club.

 

Assemblies

At Aughton Junior Academy, we have an assembly each day of the week which includes special occasions, learning about our wonderful world and fundamental British Values through our Hall of Fame assemblies.

Assembly Overview for Autumn Term

 For Show and Shine certificates, we use one of our Aughton School Games Values to celebrate one child from each class.
