Louise Smith

I am proud to say I have two children at Aughton Junior academy. I work in an infant school as a Learning Mentor. I am passionate about supporting children with SEMH needs and being proactive so that they feel ready to learn.

I also feel very strongly that reading and phonics are a key to a child’s education and love the phonics and reading scheme at Aughton.

Sara Jinks

I am incredibly proud to be a staff governor at Aughton Junior Academy, a place where I have had the privilege of working for many years. Throughout my time here, I have developed strong, meaningful relationships with not only my colleagues but also with many families in the community. These connections have allowed me to gain a deep understanding of the values and needs of the children we serve, and I am committed to supporting their growth and success. Being part of the governing body gives me an opportunity to contribute to the future of the school, ensuring it continues to thrive and positively impact the lives of the families and children I care so much about.

Minutes of meetings are available on request. Please email contactus@astoncetrust.org and the ACET Governance Leader shall respond accordingly.
